Scholte Orchideeën is a true family business that was founded by father Kees in 1965. After years of cultivating carnations and roses, a switch was made in 1973 to Cymbidium orchids.

In 1988, son Marcel joined the business and the firm subsequently concentrated on the growing of pot-Cymbidiums. Today, Scholte Orchideeën has grown into a modern pot-Cymbidium nursery that occupies an area of 30,000 m2, situated a stone's throw away from the flower auction in Aalsmeer.

We now produce pot-Cymbidiums in 1 size of pot, 14 cm, both large-flowered and small-flowered.
